Jay Nathanson

Dr. Nathanson completed his residency in psychiatry and fellowship in psychosomatic medicine at Boston Medical Center. He has a Masters in Public Health (health law and bioethics) form the Boston University School of Public Health and a fellowship in bioethics from Harvard Medical School.
He has worked as a consultation-liaison psychiatrist in various settings, including general medical hospitals and speciality centres, such as an HIV/AIDS inpatient unit and clinic.
Dr. Nathanson is a member of the consultation-liaison psychiatry service at North York General Hospital and a consulting psychiatrist for the Mental Health and Wellness Program at UHN’s Altum Health.
Dr. Nathanson also serves as a psychiatrist member of the Consent and Capacity Board of Ontario.
