Dr. Paul Kurdyak is the Director, Adult Psychiatry and Health Systems – TAHSN Sites and Dr. Andrea Waddell is the Associate Director, Quality and Innovation, Division of Adult Psychiatry and Health Systems – Community Sites.
The Division is the academic home of acute care psychiatry, including psychiatric emergency services, inpatient services, and outpatient care The Division also provides core training in psychiatry for medical students and residents.
Adult Psychiatry is committed to delivering clinical excellence and innovation to improve the delivery of mental health and addiction services. It strives to foster many roles of academic general psychiatrists, mental health clinicians and health services researchers to improve patient experience and the quality and cost effectiveness of the mental health system.
