The Division has set future objectives in many different areas:
Undergraduate Education
- Integration of longitudinal clerkship rotations into emergency psychiatry and ambulatory/collaborative care services
Postgraduate Education
- Senior selective rotations in Adult Psychiatry & Health Systems
- Supervision/Training opportunities on leadership and Administrative Psychiatry and Collaborative Mental Health Care
- Revision of clinical core rotations to support competency development and longitudinal learning
Faculty Development
- Increased capacity to integrate EBM and recent literature in clinical training across sites
- Assessing and addressing the education needs of psychiatrists in the Division
Clinical Innovation and Quality
- Focus on improving access and continuity of care
- Support evidence based planning for mental health services
