Sarah Colman (BArts.Sc. (Hon), MD, FRCPC) is a geriatric psychiatrist with special interest in frail, homebound elderly and collaborative care.  She completed her undergraduate degree in the Arts and Science Honors Programme at McMaster  and attended medical school at the University of Toronto. Dr. Colman completed a residency in psychiatry at U of T, and a fellowship in Geriatric psychiatry.  She works primarily as an Inpatient Geriatric psychiatrist at the Centre for Addiction and Mental health, where she enjoys teaching medical students and residents.

 

Research Synopsis

 

Dr. Colman has an interest in collaborative care and telemedicine for homebound elderly. She collaborates with the Housecalls team for frail seniors and the Ontario Telemedicine Network to access seniors who have mental health difficulties but are unable to leave their homes to attend medical appointments.
