Dr. George Liu started practising inpatient and outpatient psychiatry at the Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga in August 2025.
He completed his residency in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto and graduated from the University of Toronto MD program, Mississauga Academy of Medicine in 2016. Prior to medical school, he obtained a PhD from the University of Toronto in the field of experimental diabetic nephropathy.
Dr. George Liu has many clinical and research interests, which include Electroconvulsive Therapy, psychosis, Assertive Community Treatment, and Borderline Personality Disorder.
