Dr. Kohan completed psychiatric residency training at the University of Toronto with a focus on psychotherapy, trauma, narrative writing group therapy and refugee health in 2015. She is in the process of finishing her analytic training at the Toronto Institute for Contemporary Psychoanalysis (TICP) with a special focus on relational psychoanalysis. Dr. Kohan has a psychotherapy-focused private practice in Toronto, runs a narrative group at TGH and sees refugees at the Canadian Centre for Victims of Torture (CCVT).
