Nadeem Mazhar

Dr. Mazhar is a consultant psychiatrist at Markham Stouffville Hospital. He completed his medical school at University of Punjab, Pakistan and residency training at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. He has previously worked as Postgraduate Program Director for Psychiatry at Queen’s University where he still holds an adjunct faculty appointment as an Associate Professor. He has co-authored multiple peer reviewed publications and book chapters. His research interests include substance use disorders and psychiatry training. Professional awards include Exemplary Service to the Department award and Staff Excellence in Teaching award at Department of Psychiatry, Queen’s University.
