Dr. Jain received her BSc in Biomedical Science from the University of Ottawa, Medical Doctorate from St. George's University School of Medicine. Dr Jain went on to complete residency in psychiatry at Albany Medical Center and fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) where she was chief fellow. From She 2020-2022 she provide inpatient care at the Concurrent Youth Unit (CYU) and outpatient services the Youth Addictions and Concurrent Disorders Service (YACDS) at the Center for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH). She is presently a staff psychiatrist at The Slaight Centre Early Intervention Service (SCEIS) supporting outpatient services for first episode psychosis. She additionally is a staff psychiatrist at the University of Toronto Health and Wellness Services supporting student mental health. Dr Jain providers teaching and supervision to psychiatry and pediatric trainees at the University of Toronto. Primary models of treatment with a trauma informed approach include cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, motivational interviewing and evidence based psychopharmacology.
