Research Interests
Dr. Kaster’s research interests involve the clinical application of neurostimulation techniques for severe psychiatric illness with a focus on both clinical trials and population-level observational studies.

Dr. Kaster is a psychiatrist and Medical Head at the Temerty Centre for Therapeutic Brain Intervention at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health. He completed medical school at the University of Ottawa followed by residency training at the University of Toronto. He has also completed a clinical and research fellowship in psychiatric brain stimulation as well as a PhD in Clinical Epidemiology at the University of Toronto.
